Information from browser-based audio tools

Audosm provides browser-based audio-production and analysis tools.

When a user uploads an audio file to an Audosm browser-based tool, the audio is processed locally within the user's browser where the tool is designed for local processing.

Audosm does not upload or store those audio files on its servers for processing, training, or model development.

The uploaded audio remains within the user's browser-based processing environment and is not intentionally transmitted to Audosm's servers as part of the tool's normal operation.

SECTION 03Information we do not intentionally collect

Audosm does not intentionally request or collect information that is not required for its services.

Based on the current website implementation, Audosm does not intentionally request:

  • Precise location information
  • GPS information
  • Profile photographs
  • Phone numbers
  • Audio files for server-side storage

Important

Audosm does not use uploaded audio from its browser-based tools for model training or AI training.

SECTION 05Payments

Audosm uses Razorpay as its payment service provider.

Payment processing may require information such as transaction, billing, and payment-related information to be processed by Razorpay and the financial/payment institutions involved in completing the transaction.

Audosm does not need to store complete payment-card credentials merely to maintain a customer's Audosm account or order history.

Payment processing is subject to Razorpay's own privacy practices and applicable requirements.

SECTION 06Authentication, database and service providers

Audosm uses third-party technology providers to operate parts of its website and account infrastructure.

These providers may process information on Audosm's behalf where necessary to provide the relevant service.

Audosm uses:

  • Supabase for backend/database and authentication infrastructure
  • Google for Google Sign-In authentication
  • Razorpay for payment processing

Audosm does not sell user personal information to unrelated third parties.

Information is shared with service providers only where reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, or operate the relevant Audosm service, or where required by law.

Audosm uses cookies and browser storage where necessary to provide website functionality.

Necessary storage may be used for purposes such as:

  • Authentication/session functionality
  • Cart functionality
  • Security
  • Essential website preferences
  • Remembering cookie-consent preferences

Audosm may also provide controls for optional analytics or marketing technologies.

Optional categories remain disabled unless the relevant service is actually configured and the user provides the required consent.

Audosm does not add analytics or advertising services merely because the consent interface contains those categories.

For more information, users can view the separate Cookie Policy.

SECTION 09Browser-based audio processing

Audosm's browser-based audio tools are designed around local browser processing.

Audio uploaded into tools such as audio analysis, mix analysis, reference comparison, spectrum analysis, and similar browser-based tools is processed locally where the tool is designed for local processing.

Audosm does not intentionally upload these audio files to its server for storage, AI training, or model development.

This means the audio processing performed by these tools is fundamentally different from a service where a user's audio is uploaded to a remote server for analysis.

SECTION 10Data sharing

Audosm does not sell personal information.

Audosm may process or disclose information to service providers when necessary to operate the website and provide requested services, including authentication, database infrastructure, payment processing, security, communications, and related technical functions.

Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law, legal process, court order, regulatory requirement, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security, and integrity of Audosm, its users, or its services.

SECTION 11Data retention

Audosm retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including account management, purchases, customer support, security, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and legitimate business records.

When information is no longer required for these purposes, Audosm may delete or anonymize it, subject to applicable legal or operational requirements.

SECTION 12Account deletion

Users may request deletion of their Audosm account at any time.

To request account deletion, contact:

support@audosm.com

Audosm will process the request in accordance with applicable requirements.

Certain information may need to be retained where necessary for legal, accounting, transaction, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Deleting an account does not necessarily erase transaction records that Audosm is legally or reasonably required to retain.

SECTION 13Data security

Audosm takes reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or destruction.

These measures may include appropriate access controls, authentication protections, secure infrastructure, and other technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information.

However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

SECTION 14International users

Audosm is operated from India and is available to users worldwide.

Depending on the services used and the technology providers involved, personal information may be processed in countries other than the user's country of residence.

Audosm takes reasonable steps to use appropriate service providers and safeguards when processing personal information and will handle such information in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.

SECTION 15User privacy rights

Depending on the user's location and the laws applicable to their situation, users may have rights relating to their personal information, which can include rights to:

  • Request access to personal information
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion where applicable
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Request information about how personal information is processed
  • Raise a privacy-related concern or complaint

The exact rights available to a particular user depend on applicable law.

SECTION 16Children's privacy

Audosm does not knowingly request unnecessary personal information from children.

If applicable law requires parental or guardian consent for the processing of a minor's personal information, Audosm will follow the requirements applicable to that situation.

If you believe that personal information belonging to a child has been provided to Audosm inappropriately, contact us using the privacy contact information below.
